A bitter Cup… A heavy Burden
5/25/12 From The Lord, Our God and Savior – The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear – Regarding Those Who Have Recently Written Letters in the Name of The Lord
Thus says The Lord…
Yet I have indeed called to them, behold I have called to them by name, that they might draw close and serve Me… That they might seek out My ways to know them, to join with you and aid you in this trumpet, to be My hands and My feet, even to the reading of My words aloud.
Yet they are no mouthpieces, nor have I called them to this office. They are no prophets, yet My sons they remain. And of My voice it does resound within them, according to that which they have consumed; even the quiet murmurings of My Spirit speak within their hearts, without ceasing.
Yet this is what I now say to them…
Make no effort to operate within the gift of prophecy,
Yet within your hearts is My name securely written.
Now look in the Scriptures so you may know, and read My Letters so you may understand… What is a prophet? And by what means is he called? For the cup of The Lord is very heavy, full of much sorrow and very heavy; behold, it is filled with suffering and persecutions on every side… My sons, are you able to drink it? For I tell you, you are not at all able.
Behold Timothy has tasted just a very small sip, causing him to flee; even as Jonah he fled in heart and in mind, lest he drown in his own tears. Yet I strengthened him and he did return, willing to drink once more at the time appointed. For I tell you, you do not know what you seek, nor do you understand. For the weight of this burden is very heavy, and this path overflows with tears and blood, yea a flood of death and destruction follow all who I send… Thus I ask you once again, are you able to drink of this bitter cup? Are you able to bear the full weight of this burden? It is not My will that you do so, says The Lord.
Therefore, come close to Me, My sons,
Behold, you shall be met with much singing,
